Dave Pazamickas is a Senior Consulting Actuary based in the Buffalo, NY area. His primary focus is multiemployer pension plans. Dave has been a consulting actuary since 2006, bringing nearly 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, Dave has advised a wide range of multiemployer pension plans, including those in the construction, transportation, and retail food industries. His expertise spans funding projections, plan design, funding strategies, mergers and spin-offs, special financial assistance, and withdrawal liability. Dave is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars and has authored several papers on actuarial issues. He has also engaged with members of Congress and their staff on pension funding and reform issues. In addition, he currently serves as the vice chairperson of the Multiemployer Plans Committee of the American Academy of Actuaries. Dave is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
