Tim Ryan is a senior director of actuarial services at Optum, where he has worked for the last eight years. Prior to that he spent five years at a regional health plan in the Minneapolis area where he lives with his wife and two pre-school aged children. He has his fellowship from the society of actuaries and has worked across a variety of areas in the health actuarial world. Recently his day-to-day work has been most focused on Medicare Advantage and Part D Bid Pricing, risk adjustment, and strategy.
