Becca Trauger (formerly O'Loughlin) is a consulting actuary at Bolton with 10 years of actuarial experience, specializing in retiree medical plans. She is primarily responsible for actuarial valuations of other post-employment benefits (OPEB) plans under various financial reporting standings, including GASB and FASB, and has worked on many other projects throughout her career. Her experience includes data analysis and reconciliation, per capita cost development and health care underwriting, including medical and prescription drug claims analysis and rate setting for self-funded plans, quarterly claims monitoring and cost reporting, long-term disability valuations, Retiree Drug Subsidy attestations, experience studies reviewing demographic and health trend rate assumptions, incurred but not reported (IBNR) liability analyses, and plan design analyses. She has served as both a speaker and a session assistant at the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA)’s annual meeting, and is a member of the Leadership Development Community’s Steering Committee and the Annual Meeting Planning Committee. Becca graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a B.S. in actuarial science and is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
