With more than 35 years in the financial services industry, Dan has specialized in integrating cutting-edge approaches to risk management. He recently worked with Fidelity Investments on their pension solution team and previously with ProManage, a managed-account provider based in Chicago. Prior to joining ProManage, he spent 8 years as Senior Advisor at River and Mercantile Solutions (previously P-Solve). After leading investment and actuarial consulting firm Cassidy Retirement Group for over fifteen years, Dan merged his business with P-Solve in 2012. Dan also helped launch Hudson Pilot—a firm focused on innovation in pension solutions area.
Dan authored A Manager’s Guide to Strategic Retirement Plan Management published by Wiley in 2006. He has also published numerous other articles on retirement strategy and pension risk management. In 2010, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Society of Actuaries for a three-year term. Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Tufts University, is a CFA Charterholder and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
