Valerie is a Vice President in the Benefits Consulting group at Fidelity Investments and leads the Retirement team in the San Francisco office. She partners with employers of all sizes to develop solutions for an evolving workplace. She helps clients assess and improve the effectiveness of their benefit programs; drive employee engagement, total well-being and productivity. She works with her clients to design and implement successful workforce planning strategies and deliver a meaningful and measurable ROI. In recent years, Valerie has assisted many plan sponsors in de-risking their pension plans, ranging from extensive benefit re-design projects to vested terminated cashouts and plan terminations. More recently, Valerie has been active in the defined contribution space, providing creative approaches to increasing tax-advantaged savings opportunities and expanding the conversation beyond retirement adequacy to employees’ broader financial wellness.
