Associate Executive Director of Continuing Education, Conference of Consulting Actuaries
Matt joined the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA) in 1994 as the Administrative Assistant for Membership. An expansion of responsibilities in 1996 led to his being named Member Services Manager. His responsibilities include administration of the CCA’s IT infrastructure (office network, member database, web sites, and mobile technology), coordinating the registration and meeting materials for continuing education (CE) events, overseeing the processing of member dues, and coordinating the generation of CE certificates from events. If you have attended a CCA-sponsored CE event (either the CCA Annual Meeting, Enrolled Actuaries Meeting, or Employee Benefits Spring Meeting) you have probably met Matt at the meeting registration desk. Matt’s accomplishments include authoring the CCA’s Access database to administer contact information, member dues, CE events, committee participation, and publication orders. In 2007, he developed www.ActuarialCPD.org to allow members to track both Continuing Professional Development and Enrolled Actuaries credits.
Matt is proficient is numerous programs including Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, FrontPage, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Fireworks, MySQL, and ColdFusion. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
