Jeff Gavlick , Senior Vice President, A&H, Tokio Marine HCC - Stop Loss Group (TMHCC) . Jeff leads special projects, manages several key relationships, and heads up the actuarial area. Prior to joining TMHCC in 2017, Jeff was Vice President, Product Development and Management — Stop Loss and Organ Transplant for AIG Benefit Solutions, where he had profit and loss responsibilities for the Stop Loss, Organ Transplant and Captive products within AIG Benefit Solutions. Prior to joining AIG Benefit Solutions in 2012, Jeff was a Principal and Consulting Actuary with Mercer Health & Benefits, where he provided group actuarial, employee benefits, retiree medical, client management and strategic consulting services to employers. Over the course of his 19-year career at Mercer, Jeff served as Northeast Zone Leader of Mercer’s Actuarial & Financial Group, National Leader of the Stop Loss Committee, and National Stop Loss Purchasing Coalition Leader. Prior to joining the Mercer organization in 1993 (when it was named A. Foster Higgins), Jeff worked for five years as a Director and Actuary with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Indianapolis, and he started his career as an Associate Actuary with American Health & Life in Baltimore. Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Wilkes College (now Wilkes University) in Wilkes-Barre, Penn.
