Godfrey Perrott, FSA, MAAA is retired. He was a Principal of Milliman, Inc., an international firm of consultants and actuaries. He has over 40 years of experience in actuarial consulting, mostly in life insurance and financial reporting. Godfrey is a member of the Professionalism Council of the Academy, and of the Interim Actuarial Standards Subcommittee of the International Actuarial Association, and a past vice chair and member of the Actuarial Standards Board He has served on many other professional committees. Godfrey has been heavily involved in the revision to ASOP 41 both as an ASB member and as a member of the ASB General Committee. Godfrey is a regular facilitator for the Society of Actuaries’ Fellowship Admission Course and Associate's Professionalism Course. Godfrey is a graduate of the Jesus College, Cambridge (England), with a degree in mathematics. His fellow alumni include Archbishop Thomas Cranmer and S. T. Coleridge, although (unfortunately) he never met them.
