Member Profile

Prior to joining HCCI, Ms. Herrera was a healthcare economist whose work focused on the international and domestic nursing workforce, and the relationships between nurse education, staffing, quality, and patient outcomes. She previously held research and leadership positions at the George Washington University, Optimal Solutions Group LLC, the University of California-San Francisco, University of San Francisco, and Bank of America. Ms. Herrera received her MA in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco after completing a BA in Political Science at the University of Chicago.
