Felix Okwaning is a Vice President in the Custom Retirement Solutions Practice of Prudential Retirement and has over 15 years of experience working with sponsors of defined benefit, defined contribution and Non-Qualified Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans. He has extensive experience in plan design, nondiscrimination testing, and pension de-risking consulting. He works with a team of actuarial consultants tasked with providing custom design solutions within the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution space. Felix has designed retirement programs for numerous plan sponsors. He has also helped redesign existing programs to better align outcomes with the sponsor's goals and objectives for their employees. He has helped design programs for sponsors in the auto, manufacturing, and utility industries, as well as professional service organizations. Prior to joining Prudential Retirement in 2008, Felix spent the first seven and a half years of his career consulting with clients in the Retirement and Financial Management Practice of Hewitt Associates. Felix has served on the Conference of Consulting Actuaries’ (CCA’s) Annual Meeting Program Committee since 2013. He has also served on the CCA’s Emerging Leaders Steering Committee as well as the Strategic Planning Committee. Felix graduated from the University of Redlands with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Economics. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
