Session leaders discuss aspects of retirement income adequacy including projecting financial needs for employees and the sensitivity of results to changes in methods or assumptions. Plan design, communication and administrative features that employers might use to improve expected outcomes are considered. These features include, but are not limited to, lifetime income solutions both within and outside the plan. The panel discusses trends and prevalence regarding plan offerings, the usage patterns when made available, along with a review of legislative and regulatory activity in this area.
