Michael L. Frank is a life & health with more than thirty-five (35) years of experience, including executive management experience in insurance, reinsurance, managed care, and employee benefits consulting. Mr. Frank is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and Associate, International Conference of Consulting Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, Member of the Caribbean Actuarial Association as well as having memberships in several other leading professional organizations.
Mr. Frank has provided financial and management consulting to various organizations including insurance companies, investment bankers, reinsurers, managed care organizations, captive insurance companies, hospitals, risk-bearing healthcare provider groups, disease management, third-party administrators, accounting firms, actuarial consulting firms, brokerage firms, private equity funds, and other organizations servicing the insurance/reinsurance industry in the US and internationally. He has also advised various employer groups pertaining to their employee benefits and insurance, including publicly traded companies, municipalities, multiemployer health & welfare funds, and associations.

Prior to joining Risk Strategies, Mr. Frank was a co-founder of Aquarius Capital, an actuarial consulting and insurance advisory firm. He previously worked as an actuary at Transamerica Reinsurance, Management Facilities Corporation (a reinsurance managing general underwriter), CareGuide/Coordinated Care Solutions (a managed care company), Physicians Health Services (an HMO), The Segal Company, Coopers & Lybrand, and Prudential Life Insurance Company. He is originally from the New York metropolitan area and graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics and serves on an advisory council for University of Michigan Actuarial Department. He also served as an adjunct professor teaching in the M.S. in Actuarial Science program at Columbia University.
