Dalesa Bady, Founder & CEO of Pursue What Matters, is an actuary turned career strategist who blazed her own trail to close a $50B executive leadership gap in the insurance industry. Armed with 15 years of experience in the property and casualty space, she knows firsthand what it means to navigate leadership as a woman in insurance – and what happens when talent goes unseen. Prior to launching her own company in 2022, Dalesa worked as a credentialed actuary leading multi-million dollar efforts across USAA, Pinnacle Actuarial Resources and GuideOne Insurance. Currently, Dalesa serves on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Black Actuaries and is an active volunteer for the Casualty Actuarial Society.
