Based in Houston, Joe Kelly is the Energy & Resources Industry Leader for the Human Capital practice within Deloitte Consulting. He also serves as the Lead Consulting Principal for an Oil & Gas OCEO client. Joe has over 30 years of experience consulting with clients on compensation, benefits and rewards design and valuation, operational and compliance reviews, sourcing strategy for human resources and benefits administration services and vendor selection in that arena. In addition, he has spent considerable time consulting with private equity and strategic buyers in due diligence and post-merger integration activities. He has served clients in the Oil & Gas, Technology, Telecommunications, Financial Services, and Aerospace & Defense industries. Joe is a pension actuary by training with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University with a double major in Actuarial Science and Accounting. He is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries, and Enrolled Actuary, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow in the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
