Brian oversees the development and management of specialty programs and services that differentiate OptumRx/BriovaRx in the marketplace, and the resulting value story and access strategies. He has a diverse and successful 20-year record in the pharmacy benefits and healthcare industries, working with numerous sophisticated health plan purchasers and employers. Brian has served the past 7 years within the organization overseeing client relations, operations, clinical services, strategic initiatives, acquisition integrations, implementations, and strategy/growth planning. Prior experience in pharmacy business development, management, and operations, included LTC, community practice, Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, direct to physician sales, provider education, and technology and product development. Additionally, Brian served as a Special Agent in the FBI specializing in counter-terrorism and organized crime. Brian earned his degree in pharmacy from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, and a masters in pharmaceutical outcomes and policy from the University of Florida.
