Beth Baker, FSA, MAAA, is a healthcare actuary and strategic advisor with more than 25 years of experience in actuarial analysis, analytics, reimbursement design, and healthcare innovation. As Founder and Chief Actuary of Naxara, an AI-enabled actuarial consulting firm, she helps insurers, providers, and regulators apply actuarial rigor, data strategy, and practical AI to complex business decisions. She has held senior leadership roles at Centene and Kaiser, where she led actuarial and value-based care initiatives, built high-performing teams, and supported complex Medicaid and provider reimbursement programs. Beth holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Indiana University and is pursuing an Executive Doctor of Business Administration in Strategy and Leadership at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She regularly contributes to the actuarial community through presentations and volunteer work focused on AI, machine learning, and responsible innovation in healthcare. Beth is a former winner of the Society of Actuaries Speculative Fiction Contest.
