Frederica S. Daniels is a Vice President and the Managing Actuary in CT's USI Consulting Group’s Defined Benefit department. With over 25 years of experience, her expertise lies in actuarial consulting, annuity product placements, and plan terminations. She is responsible for providing actuarial and consulting services for approx. 25 defined benefit clients of her own, coordinates the management process for plan termination consulting, and manages the development and growth of 5 other actuaries in the CT office. During her tenure at USI Consulting Group, she has performed asset/liability studies, pension plan redesign consulting, actuarial valuation report generation for public, private and SERP plans, IRS funding cost projections, nondiscrimination testing, benefit adequacy and actuarial assumption/experience studies, DB/DC plan conversions, FASB/GASB expense calculations and disclosure reports, pension plan termination processes and oversight, completion of annual tax filings, and been involved in 403(b) plan provider searches. Frederica graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Hartford and received a B.S.B.A. degree with a major in Actuarial Science. She is an Enrolled Actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
