Stephen A. Alpert, MAAA, FSA, EA, FCA was a Principal and member of Mercer’s Compliance and Professional Standards Group through 2015. He also served in the firm’s Actuarial Resource Network and Global Accounting Standards Group, where he worked with consultants worldwide on retirement plan accounting issues, pension plan design and financial risk management. He currently the President-Elect of the American Academy of Actuaries. Steve is an Enrolled Actuary (EA), a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
