Yi-Ling is a healthcare actuary and financial strategist at the Terry Group. She is a pioneer in the development of sophisticated analytics that support organizations in navigating the new healthcare environment. In addition, Yi-Ling has over 20 years of experience advising clients on strategic planning, pricing and contract negotiations.

Yi-Ling has served as the lead health consulting actuary for various sized clients ranging from jumbo to mid-market. She has also led a team of actuaries whose functions include pricing health premiums and premium-equivalent rates, setting employee contributions, calculating reserves, consulting on retiree medical valuation assumptions and accounting impacts, valuing post-employment benefits for client financial statements, providing actuarial pricing, plan experience reporting and strategic benefit planning support during labor negotiations and evaluating health care reform financial impacts and strategic direction. Yi-Ling has also worked with hospital systems to evaluate carrier contracts, measure financial performance and establish reporting and analytics to support strategic decision making.

Yi-Ling holds a B.A. in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
