Current Responsibilities - Geoff is a senior health and benefits consultant with 11 years of experience. He is a member of our Retiree Healthcare Steering Committee and is highly involved in developing actuarial tools for plan design analysis and to assess the implications of health reform. His current responsibilities include overseeing actuarial work and providing strategic consulting for several large clients.
Experience - In recent years, Geoff has managed health and welfare consulting services and provided strategic consulting for some of our largest clients. His experience includes FAS 106/FAS 112 valuations and forecasts, analysis of Medicare Part D alternatives, claims analysis, health plan rating for self-insured plans, plan design analysis, merger and acquisition support, union negotiation support, and the development of online tools to communicate the value of company provided health benefits to employees. Much of his work has involved developing interactive models for employers to use in analyzing the impacts of alternative plan designs. He serves as a company-wide resource for issues related to retiree healthcare.
Education/Professional Designations/Affiliations - Geoff graduated from the University of Illinois in 2000 with a M.A. in actuarial science. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
