Mr. Whelpley is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has over 25 years of experience in retiree health and pension consulting. Currently he is engaged in producing postretirement welfare funding studies and valuations under GASB 74/75 for public entities, FASB ASC 715-60 for corporations, and FASB ASC 965 for multiemployer trust funds.
