Dr. Leanne Metcalfe is a forward-thinking, health care analytics executive with extensive healthcare knowledge and experience across the payer, provider, pharmaceutical and even pet health spaces. In her current role she leads a team of data scientists helping commercial clients improve health outcomes for their employees. Prior to Aon, Leanne served as Vice President of Enterprise Data and Analytics at Thrive Vet. Before that she lead the Health Economics Research and Outcomes team at Blue Cross Blue Shield (TX, IL, NM, MT, OK). She sat on the Susan G Komen Dallas County board of directors and is now on the board of SonarMD and Dress for Success. Leanne has a passion for understanding the drivers of health outcomes and designing interventions that can improve the quality of life of patients. She was recognized recently as one of the Top 50 Caribbean Women in Technology, she was also the 2019 Young Innovator award winner, 2017 Dallas “Hidden Figure”, a Rhodes Scholar finalist, a former George’s Family Foundation Health Research Fellow and former SREB research fellow. Her research work has been recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce for two consecutive years with innovations leading to improved quality of health for both Asthma and Crohn’s Disease patients. Academically, Leanne has published in multiple journals and presented research findings across the country discussing clinical evaluations, health economics and health policy. Her most research work is most focused on Health Care quality and outcomes.
