Emily Dave is the U.S. Longevity Actuary at Reinsurance Group of America (RGA). Emily’s team provides longevity expertise globally. Emily leads the development of longevity assumptions and longevity research for the U.S. market. Her longevity expertise contributed to RGA’s successful entry into the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) market in 2022. Emily's responsibilities include investigating the latest mortality developments to create and refine longevity bases. Emily investigates and assesses factors that may impact the longevity of the general and insured population in the short term and into the future.
Before focusing on the U.S. market, Emily developed longevity assumptions for RGA's European business. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from King's College London and a Master's degree in Actuarial Science. Emily is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) and the Society of Actuaries (US).
