Given changes in pharmacy are increasing rapidly, and a new administration will be in place for over two months, we can’t list out the hot topics yet as no one knows for sure what they will be in April. Rest assured, we have put together a panel of pharmacy experts who will be monitoring the events closely and be ready to provide timely insights on emerging topics, as well as topics that were hot and may be less relevant in the future.
In September 2024, a new final rule was published including new requirements for health plans and employers around Mental Health Parity. The new rule includes changes to testing requirements for both quantitative treatment limitations (QTL) and non-quantitative treatment limitations (NQTL). In this session, panelists will provide an overview of the changes included in the new rule and potential implications for health plans and employers in both of these areas.

Potential topics include: recent Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) changes to Medicare Advantage and Part D plans, employer retiree plan topics including creditable coverage determinations, Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) calculations, and OPEB valuation, and other current topics impacting the Medicare market overall.
